Damien Bates has been involved in Medieval re-enactment since 1997.

This work is an attempt to help preserve an exciting period of our past and to allow everyone an opportunity to share in this passion for history.

Many pieces are of a religeous motif, often reminding us of their obedience to God. Yet these same pieces also remind us of the Chivalric code of Knights and on the other hand the ruthlessness of the executioners axe.

There is something in history for us all to be excited about!
